The two diagram depicts the current and redesign layout of the art gallery.

Overall, the art gallery will change significantly according to the proposed plan. There will be a completely new entrance and more spaces for exhibition.

According to the current layout of the art gallery, the entrance leads to the lobby. On the left side of the lobby there is an office. The lobby then opens into two temporary and one permanent exhibition area. The Parkinson court is opposite to these spaces. There is a large empty area on the left side of permanent exhibition which is currently not part of the gallery.

Looking at the proposed plan, there will be no longer a lobby and the office as they will be replaced with education area and store/plant respectively. Also, the permanent site will be extended by replacing both the temporary sites. And the new entrance to the gallery will be from the Parkinson court side. Likewise, special exhibition site and store will be adjacent to the permanent exhibition section.
