The given diagram is of the manufacturing process of frozen fish pies in the factory. The steps are labelled accordingly.
To give an overview, fish pies consists of four raw materials which includes potatoes, peas, sauce and fresh salmon. To start, potatoes are first cleaned, peeled, sliced and then are kept for boiling. Afterwards, it is chilled and stored.
The second process which is happening simultaneously is the preparation of the fish. The salmon is freshly brought to the factory within 12 hours of catching and lemon juice along with salt is added on top of it. The marinated salmon is then steamed in an oven, after which the skin and bones are removed. Subsequently, the fish is inspected. Towards the end, the salmon, prepared peas and sauce along with the stored potatoes are wrapped together and is kept in the freezer. Afterwards, the frozen fish pie is dispatched to the stores.
