The charts illustrate where the residents of three countries (USA, England and Switzerland) choose to go grocery shopping.
Overall, different hypermarkets are popular in all three nations. Walmart, Tesco and Aldi being the most popular choice among all grocery stores in different countries.
In the USA, the most shopped at grocery store was Walmart at 36%, followed by Tesco and Albertsons (21% and 20% respectively). Other shops took up 16% of the market share and Aldi was the least popular choice (7%).
Britishers prefered to shop at Tesco (45%) and Aldi (30%) the most. Walmart and other shops made up 14% and 10% of the remaining share.
In comparison to the USA and UK, Aldi dominates in Switzerland at 85%, whereas Tesco, Walmart and Albertsons are less than 6% of the grocery shoppers’ choice respectively.
