The maps demonstrate how Felixstone town developed over a period of 34 years(1967-2001)
Overall, following the changes,the town became more recreational area within a fairly long timeframe. The noteworthy changes were seaside construction of new buildings and repurposing for housing. However, some north-west parts of the town remained intact
To northwest part of the town, in 1967 there was Golf course which experienced no change after 34 years. In the heart of the town High street stood with flunked by a ray of shops from both sides and eastern side was repurposed for housing in 2001. From eastrn, there was a big farmland that was cleared to make way for recreational aminities, including swimming pool, tennis courts and hotel as well.
Bottom of the town experienced more significant changes being more eco-friendly with instruction of wind turbines in vicinity of mounland and plants.In 1967 there were Hotel and cafe in southwest and in 2001 both of them were moved lightly to the east. Additionally, Car park was constracted adjacent to the hotel, facilitating accessible of guests from northeast.In order to make sea more favourable for residents, the public and prive beaches were created at expense of pier and fish market southwards .
