Likewise, outright has been the most popular payment method in all age group except 18-25 years old.
At the start of the period, the average cost of a laptop is $2,000. In fact, this number increased steadily for 6 years. Mobile phone, even though starting at the lowest point, also shows a little increase from approximately $1,250 to almost $1,500 at the end of 2026.
Regarding payment method in 2020, you can see that the majority of people use outright (especially 60+ years old). Following behind, payment plan holds the second position in all age group, with its highest number in between age 18-25 years old. In addition, other methods of paying aren’t as popular as outright and payment plan.
