The maps give information about the town center of Trentville in 1996, and the changes planned for 2016.
Overall, major infrastructural changes, such as the construction of a casino or the introduction of new establishments within the gallery premises, were expected to be put in place by 2016. Notably, the town center was expected to change considerably, placing more emphasis on entertainment and modernization.
Turning to its layout in 1966, the area was indeed catered for tourists, made up of various facilities to suit them. These included a church, tower, and cinema on the north with a museum, library, and garden on the south, all designed to attract new visitors. Additionally, a piazza was surrounded by an amphitheater, with antique shops and cafes all in one, along with a gallery to the left of the public space.
By 2016, the town center had undergone extensive development. The amphitheater was replaced by a boutique shop and eatery. The cinema and church in the north had been replaced by a subway station and cafe, respectively. The area around the former theater was converted into a hotel. The central piazza remained, but the area to the east saw significant changes, with the addition of a car park and casino. To the south, the museum and gallery retained their original locations, while the library area now accommodated a new restaurant.
