The picture above represent the current arrangement of facilities in a shopping mall and the proposed rearrangement of it in the future.
Overall, according to the plan, radical layout changes are going to be made to both floors of the mall to optimize the utilisation of the empty spaces and enhance clients’ shopping experience through the installisation of new facilities.
Before, small shops were scattered all across the levels, combined with the absence of automatic escalators and lifts in both floors, rendering the visitors exhausted to travel around and reach their desired destination. Following the redevelopment, new lifts and escalators will be introduced in the central spaces, giving clients more convenient moving options. On top of that, shops are going to be redistributed into large group in the center of each floor.
Prior to the rearrangent, the section next to the stairs was occupied by either an array of shops or empty spaces. Nonetheless, after the refurbishment, new amusement amenities will be installed, respectively being the supermarket in the first level and the cinema in the second level. Along with that, department stores will be expand significantly and a new one of them is planned to be placed in the second floors
