The diagrams illustrate how will the redevelopment be invloved in the layout of a shopping centre in a town.

Overall, two levels of shopping centre are expected to undergo some significant changes such as the extension of department store and shops, as well as the addition of a supermarket in level 1 and a cinema in level 2. In addition, the redevelopment will create a same interior model in both two levels of shopping centre.

In terms of the layout of level 1, at present, the department store formed in L-shaped is located in the top left corner, while the same shaped shops are positioned in the top right corner. After undergoing redevelopment, these two facilities will be expanded in the lengths and transformed into the rectangular areas, leading to the disapperance of rectangular the shops next to the store. Meanwhile, there is an ATM machine located in the middle of these two areas. The lift situated in the bottom right corner will be moved to the middle and opposite to the ATM. In addition, the stairs in the centre of shopping centre will be converted into an escalator. Besides that, an area for shops which is next to the lift as well as lined along the longer side will be used for supermarket in the future.

Turning to the layout of level 2, there are two similar L-shaped stores located opposite each other, with the main area lined along the longer side, while the stairs is placed in the centre. After changes, the layout of level 2 will become more complicated as it will have the same model of level 1, except the location of the supermarket will belong to a new cinema.
