The left diagram shows the stages in the life of a lady bird, whereas the right one illustrates the anatomy of the insect.
In general, there are four stages in the life cycle of a lady bird. The process begins with eggs being laid on a leaf, which generally hatch within 2 to 5 days. In the next stage, the larval then emerges and grows for approximately 21 days. After that, the larvae attach themselves to a suitable leaf and transition into the pupal stage, which takes for around 7 days. Finally, the adult ladybird emerges from the pupa and continues its life cycle.
The right picture depicts that the most distinctive feature of the insect is its red elytra with black spots which cover its wings. This insect has a rounded head with a couple of eyes and antennae. The ladybird has six legs and there is a structure called the pronotum which is just below the head.
