The picture describes the reproduction of the salmon.
Overall, there are various steps in the life of this large fish, beginning with the salmon eggs and ending with two mature salmon mating to produce eggs again.
At the beginning of the process, in the upper river where the eggs are laid among small stones beneath the reeds take approximately five to six months to hatch into the fry, which are only three to eight centimeters long. After around four years, these spend time in the lower river to develop into smolt, at which point they gradually undergo physical changes reaching 12-15 centimeters in length. The process continues with these young smolt migrating to the ocean, where they live about five years. The smolt continue to inhabit the open sea before developing into adult salmon. It is important to note that they grow significantly in terms of their color, shape and weight at around 70-76 centimeters. Finally, the cycle begins again when two fully-grown salmon are capable of reproducing.
