The maps illustrate how the ground floor layout of a university department transformed between 1980 to 2010.
Overall, the most significant changes to the department were the expansion of the main building and the removal of green area to make space for several new facilities.
According to the layout in 1980, a plant space is located at the top right corner of the map, which next to the righ-hand side of the apartment. Additionally, there was a department, which linked with road by a main entrance. Inside the building, there were two large rooms situated on the left. On the opposite side, another room was built, with a small library and an office located next to it.
After 30 years, the ground floor plan had experienced a significant change. Outside the main building, the garden area had removed to make way for a new IT Centre that the library was also relocated next to this facility. Moreover, a car park was erected between the main entrance and the road. Inside the apartment, the space became larger with two additional rooms. While the office was expanded where the former library was took place.
