The two maps illustrate the current layout of a college building and the proposed changes for its future development.
Overall, the site is expected to undergo a complete internal rearrangement, with several buildings being removed and relocated to different parts of the area.
Regarding the external changes, the footpath between the main building and the car park is planned to be removed to make way for the extension of the parking area. In the northern part, the current large garden and foot path are slated to be demolished, leaving the area as an open space. The bus stop remains in the same position to the south of the college building.
In terms of the building’s internal modifications, it is planned to be expanded. In the northern part, the existing main entrance will be moved to the southern wall, providing direct access from the bus stop. The reception and the library, which are on the right side, will be moved to the central area. The reception is now located directly in front of the new entrance. Furthermore, a new shop is planned to be established in the north-west corner. The number of classrooms is set to increase to four, and they are now all concentrated along the eastern side of the building. Interestingly, the lunch area and toilets will remain in their current locations, though their surrounding layout will be simplified.
