The illustrations demonstrate how to prepare raw materials and the process of producing ceramic tiles.
Overall, the process of tile manufacturing consists of two main steps, starting with the preparation of raw materials and ending with the production of the final products.
In terms of the first process, clay and water are combined into a mixer and grinder, resulting in a moist slurry. After this, the produced mixture is injected into a filter press, where moisture is removed. In the next step, this substance is subjected to a spray dryer, resulting in powder, which is later transported to a tile press, already for the production of tile.
Regarding the production of tile, the newly formed tiles are dried in a drying chamber at a moderate heat ranging from 100 degrees Celsius to 200 degrees Celsius for 1 to 3 days. In the following step, heated tiles are coated in a glazing machine before being delivered to a kiln, where they are combusted in high temperatures from 1000 degrees Celsius to 1250 degrees Celsius for 20 to 30 minutes. Lastly, the final products are formed and ready to be used
