The diagrams illustrate how UK students described their level of financial organisation and compare the proportion of students in different age groups who considered themselves very organised.
Overall, the majority of students believed they were fairly organised with money, while only a very small minority stated that they were not organised at all. In addition, older students tended to be more financially organised than younger ones.
According to the pie chart, more than half of the students, at 55%, described themselves as fairly organised in managing their finances. A further 21% claimed that they were very organised. By contrast, 20% reported being not very organised, while only 4% said they were not organised at all.
The table indicates a clear relationship between age and financial organisation. Among all students, 21% considered themselves very organised. However, the proportion was lower among students aged up to 22 years, at 18%. This figure increased to 26% for those aged between 23 and 25, before reaching a peak of 35% among students aged over 26.
