The first diagram gives information about a cement production, as well as, the second diagram displays the concrete processing with a cement as one of the materials for construction purposes.
There are five consecutive steps for producing good quality of cement. First, the limestone and clay, which are the two main ingredients, are crushed into a powder and then inserted to a mixer for mixing the powder into a homogenous mixture. Thereafter, the mixture keeps moving to a rotating heater cylinder where the heat is added in order to rise the powder’s temperature, before grinding to produce finer particles of cement. Finally, the cement is packaged into sacks before distributing to the vendors.
On the other hand, there is a formula to yield a high quality of concrete consisting of cement, water, sand, and gravel. Gravel accounts for a half, the highest percentage in the formula, followed by sand with 25% and cement with 15%, while water has the lowest figure with only 10%. All ingredients are stirred in a concrete mixer to create a concrete.
