The two maps compare the layout of a student accommodation in 2010 and at present.
Overall, the accommodation has been converted into a more student-friendly place after redevelopment with more learning and sanitary facilities and fewer green spaces. Additionally, the interface has been expanded some new features and a well organized space.
In 2010, the place was surrounded by two gardens-one at the top (north) and one at the bottom (south). The entrance was located in the west, at the bottom of a study-bedroom. Also, there was a corridor in the building, which was divided into three parts. Additionally, all the facilities inside were connected to the corridor, including a bathroom, a hall, a kitchen, and the rooms.
Currently, several major changes have been added. A new ensuite bathroom and two new study bedrooms have been built and enlarged throughout the place. One of these rooms is a revised version of the previous living room. Also, a new parking zone has been built at the place of the northern garden. Moreover, the space of the hall and the corridor has been reduced in size to accommodate the new layout. In addition, the kitchen has been upgraded into a kitchen-social area. However, the northern garden, the entrance, and one study bedroom remain unchanged.
