The bar graph above illustrates how the price of houses revolutionised between 1995 and 2000 in five cities. It is clearly shown that during 1990 and 1995, Rome had the lowest percentage change, while Hong Kong had the highest change in price (%). However, between 1995 and 2000, Hong Kong had a great turnover and had the lowest price change (%).
From 1990 to 1995, Hong Kong had the highest percentage of price change, followed by Beijing and Sydney. Conversely, Rome had the lowest, about -3% of the percentage change. However, as it reached the time between 1995 to 2000, Hong Kong’s percentage change in price decreased from around 5% to -6%. Additionally, Sydney’s percentage also dropped from 3% to -2%.
While Hong Kong and Sydney had the greatest drop, between 1995 and 2000, Beijing and San Francisco’s percentage change had risen (about 1%), making them have the highest percentage change in housing price. Although most cities had significant changes, Rome stayed constant through 1990 to 2000.
