The maps demonstrate how a layout of a museum changed between 1990 and 2010.
Overall, it is clear that the museum witnessed striking transformation. Chief among these is the expansion in size of parking area and shop, and the introduction of a new café. Moreover, the building of the museum was extended.
In 1990, there was a cottage in the bottom left corner of the museum but it was converted to a café in 2010. In the wider area right above the cottage in 1990, there were four exhibition rooms, a shop in the bottom right corner and a store room in top left corner, after twenty years four exhibition rooms were merged into two bigger ones, the shop was expanded and eventually took over an exhibition room. Additionally, the store room was remained stable.
Regarding the remaining areas, the garden and trees in the top of the map remained unchanged, while the path saw a reduction in size. Furthermore, in 1990, the garden was removed to make room for another car park after 20 years
