The diagrams illustrate how pineapples are grown and products are made from them. Overall, the process of growing pineapples is linear, which takes them 12 months to become ripe and they use natural sunlight and ethylene. As for manufacturing pineapple products, 3 types of products – juice, canned pineapple slices, and boxes of pineapples to be exported – are prepared.
Pineapples grow under the sun in around 23-30 degrees during the process. The gap between each pineapple crown should be 26 cm to avoid each other. After 7 months of growing, the half-grown pineapples are maintained with ethylene. Finally, in 5 months, the ripe pineapples are ready, which are 2 kilograms and 30 cm each.
When it comes to the production of different goods from pineapple, 3 kinds of products are manufactured. The first one is juice, which is extracted from peeled pineapples. Additionally, pineapples are sliced in a circular or piece form and then canned, after which their skin is removed. Interestingly, whole pineapples are exported after washing with wax and putting into boxes.
