Overall, it is immediately apparent that the industrial dock has changed to an entertainment area with many facilities, new and converted buildings, whereas the way to the coast has remained unchanged. Another important change is that ships have been demolished and made way for ship museum construction.

Turning to the details, on the north side, two warehouses have been transformed into an education centre and kids’ playing area, and the crane between them has been replaced by a sailing club.

In 1980, there were four ships in the central area of the dock. Today, three ships have disappeared, while one ship in the west corner has been transformed into a museum, with the addition of a bridge and flood barrier beyond it on the east side of the plan. The crane in the south-west corner has been demolished. The warehouse on the southern bank of the river walk has been replaced by apartments, with the hotel being constructed to the left of it and parking to the right.
