The diagram depicts the layout of Liverton docks in 1980 and the proposed redevelopment in current.
Overall, the docks underwent a transformation from a spacious, transport into a much denser and urbanized residential area. Warehouse and transport largely disappeared, giving way to modern housing, contemporary facilities and educational.
In 1980, the docks had a rather sample arrangement. At the northern side of the docks, the crane surrounded by warehouse and overlooking a warehouse at the southern river. Along river, four ships, served the product to the coast. The Crane occupied the south-western corner at the junction of riverside.
After more than 1980, this layout had been significantly altered. The crane and both warehouse were completely removed and replaced with new education estates. Following this, in the river transport were replaced by a ship museum and a bridge was built. Moreover, at the southern area, the area became flanked with additional residential units -a hotel, two apartments and parking- and a new path river was introduced to accommodate further expansion. As a result, the once-transportation developed into a compact, modern community
