The given layout of school library depict the modifications which has been taken place at present since five years ago. In general, school library has witnessed significant changes in terms of new additions, repurposes, and refurbishments throughout the period of five years.
It is conspicuous that in map 1, book shelves were located in the north and the south part of the school library. The central area had four study tables. Moreover, the library office was in the southeast, and the desk for computers were placed in the northeast. Furthermore, the southeast had classroom and meeting room next to each other, and in the corner, there was a books borrowing and returning desk.
Probing ahead the refurbishments, the area of southwest is expanded from three rooms (classroom, meeting room, borrowing and returning desk) to four rooms, with the addition of new recording room and separation of borrowing and returning section. On the other hand, the central area is extended with six study tables along with named under private studying tables than previous four studying tables.
Focusing on repurposes, the book shelves in the south are changed into desks for student’s laptop, as well as the library office in southeast corner is transformed into conference room. However, desks for student computers converted into desks for laptops.
