The diagram illustrates how the temperature of earth is affected by the greenhouse effect.

Overall, there are three main stages from how earth is warmed by sun heat radiation to how the earth becomes hotter.

Initially, the sun transfers the light radiation to the earth that is scattered from the atmosphere and reflected by clouds by 26%. In addition, 19% of heat radiation is absorbed by the atmosphere and clouds and 51% of the heat is also absorbed by the earth and makes the earth warm.

Secondly,after the radiation from the sun warms the earth,the greenhouse gases are trapped in the atmosphere and the heat is reflected by it. Next, the heat makes earth suitable for inhabitants’ life. However, the heat will be lost at night. Finally, the number of pollutants will increase greenhouse gases and the gases will be trapped in the atmosphere that obtains more heat and the earth will feel hotter.
