The diagram illustrates the process of chocolate making divided into different stages.
Overall, it is clear that the chocolat making process is made up 10 stages, starting with ripe cacao pods, and ending with inner part being pressed to produce liquid chocolate.
First of all, cacao trees grow in countries such as South America, Africa and Indonesia, where ripe re pods develop. These pods are the harvested, and the white cocoa beans inside are removed. After that, the beans are fermented and spread out in the sun to dry. This drying process helps to prepare the beans for further use.
Once the beans are dry, they are packed into large sacks and transported by train or lorry to a factory. There the beans are roasted at a high temperature. After roasting, the beans are crushed and the outer shells are removed. In the final stage, the inner part of the beans is pressed to produce liquid chocolate, which is then used to make different chocolate products.
