Overall, the town underwent a number of significant changes, the most important of which was the addition of more recreational facilities and accommodation to cater to/for visitors better.
In the north-west of the town, the golf course remained, and more shops were added on the left side of the high street branching off from the main road. The shops on the right of the high street were replaced by apartments, while the farmland was removed to make way for a resort including a swimming pool, a hotel, and two tennis courts in the north eastern part of the town.
The green area in the south west was expanded, whereas no changes were made to the sand dunes, and some wind turbines were added by the sea in this area of the town. A parking lot was built near the hotel in the middle of the map, which was accompanied by the cafe being moved southwards. A public beach and a private beach were constructed, replacing the pier, marina and fish market in the south east of the town.
