Task 1:
The bar charts give information about how many percentages of males and females who regularly do household tasks, specifically cooking, cleaning, pet care, house repairs, and their average time are spent on these activities in Great Britain.
Overall, it is clear that cooking and cleaning make up the largest proportion in both genders, while the figure for house repairs accounts for the lowest percentage. Moreover, it is also worth mentioning that the average time spent by women on these tasks is higher than that of men.
Looking at the details, cooking is the dominant figure for both genders, with 60% males and over 80% females. Both genders spend over 60 percent on cooking. In comparison to this chart, cleaning has the next highest percentage for males and females. The former shows 40% and over 40 minutes, whereas the latter forms more than 60% and just under 70.
Moreover, the lesser rates can be seen in pet care, with only around 20% of people from both genders. The fact is that the rate of people who perform house repairs is the smallest, less than 20%, and men spend less than 20 minutes and 5 minutes for females.
