In 1988, Bangladesh registered around 1 unit value of clothing exported. This figure then experienced a slight increase to 4 in 2000 before surging remarkably to nearly 20 in the last year of this period.
When it comes to the pie chart, in 2012, the value of clothing exported to the Europe Union was 11.38 billion $US, accounting for 60% of total value. The percentage of the clothing exported value in the USA was nearly a quarter, with 4.53 billion $US. Canada and other destinations accounted for 5% and 8%, respectively. The two remaining countries were Japan and Turkey had modest figures with 2% and 1%, respectively.
