The first diagram represent how many travellers use the railway in a almost a decade, starting in 2000 while the second one illustrates the proportion of punctual running trains comparing to it standard target.
Overall, it is obvious that the number of public transit users has witnessed an upward trend, in the first diagram. Meanwhile, on the second one, there were only three years when the train reach its target of punctuality.
In the first graph, there were about almost 40 million of commuters use trains in 2000. This figure continue to grow to around 42 million of users, before undergoes a dip in 2003, remaining at the same figure at its start. However, this figure reach peak at almost 50 million of rail travellers in 2005, prior to decrease gradually and stood at 41 million in 2009.
In the second illustration, there were 92% of trains running on time. As this figure constantly rising,it reaches it target at 95% in 2002 and 2005. Meanwhile, the figure for punctual trains witnessed a downward trend and stood at the same figure at it starting point prior to grow, obtain it goal again in 2007 then exceeding the target and stood at almost 98% in 2009.
