Following Bar chart depicts the different modes of transport which have been used to travel to occupation in a single European city from 1960 to 2000.
The people in europe highly preferred travelling to work by walking or on foot but eventually as a certain time period passed away, there has been noticed that people choose a car over walking.
In 1960 people were preferring the bus as their means of transport to travel for work which is 25% and followed other years such as 1960 and 2000 are 20% and 18% respectively. In 2000 the car was used more to travel to office which was 40% as compared to other years which was 22% and 5%.
People liked to travel to their occupation using bikes in 1960 which was 25% , which was not that highly preferred by employees in 1960 as they feel like going on foot to their jobs and the percentage of preferred was 34%.
