The given chart illustrates how transportation preference changed among citizens living one of the European cities in during given years. The most common transportation modes to go to work are by bus, car, bike or walking.
The ratio of people who chose to use bus for per given year are almost sharing the same ratio, but if it is necessary to give more detail for usage of this transportation vehicle, 1980 is the highest year comparing the 1960 and 2000 years. On the other hand, car usage increased year by year. For example, while the rate of car preference in 1960 is over 5%, the same ratio doubled in 1980 and end up 40%. The third choice which is bike usage decreased yearly in contrast to car usage. It indicates the exact opposite trend as to car usage. The rate of bike preference dropped from 25% to 5%. Lastly, as it has been always used and never end, going to work is by walking. Whereas the ratio of going to work only walking or running, in other words with your foot, mitigated from 35% to 5%.
Overall, the preference of usage transportation methods for going to work changed considering the given years.
