The two tables illustrate the percentage of individuals sufferering from various illnesses and different types of diets that were frequent in Lisbon. Overall, the first chart demonstrates the proportions of diseases that were common among the people, whereas the second graph shows the rate of the certain kinds of diets.
Obesity rate had the highest percentage among males in Lisbon, reaching 28%, while other diseases were the most common for women, demonstrating 37%. However, type 2 diabetes reported the lowest rate at 3% and 4%. The average percentage has been primarily driven by heart disease and hypertension, recording 24% and 9%, also, 20% and 18% respectively. Other disorders remained at 25% for men which showed the mean proportion.
Meditarranean diet was the most popular among women, remaining at 36%. Although, men chose mostly other types of selections of food, reaching 34%. By contrast, only 2% pf women preferred other kinds of food. Additionally, vegan and intermittent diets were mostly preferred by females which were 31% and 19% respectively. The common selections of food among males became paleo and intermittent diets, being recorded at 20% and 10%, while fish diet remained at 12% for females.
