The first table gives information on types of diseases, while the second chart illustrates common types of diets that females and males from Lisbon have. Data is presented in percentages.
Overall, Obesity rate is the most common condition among males ,whereas type 2 diabetes is the least common among two genders. In contrast, most men and women have Mediterranean diet.
According to the first chart, the most common disease for males is obesity at 28%, followed by others at 25%. The percentages for hypertension and heart disease range from 20% to 24%. Conversely, the least common condition with men is type 2 diabetes. For females, other disease account for about one third of all diseases (37%), followed by obesity at 26%. The proportion of females suffering from heart disease is twice as much as hypertension (18%), at 9%.
On the other hand, the majority of males and females have mediterrian diet at 25% and at 36%, respectively. Among men, paleo diet is twice as much popular as vegan (10%), at 20%. For other diets, proportions vary between 11% and 31%. Conversely, mediterrian and vegan diets make up two thirds of all diets among women, at 36% and at 31%, respectively. The least popular female diet is other at 2%, while the rest types of diets range from 12% to 19%.
