Two maps below illustrates the changes at Clock Tower Roundabout in Dubai after recent decades. Overall, it has changed and developed a lot with numerous skyscrapers and vehicles, leading to the disappearance of the sandy desert.
Looking at the two maps, we can easily see that the location of the Clock Tower remains the same at the centre of the roundabout. In the past, there were a fews building surrounded this area, sand and trees was mainly covered the roundabout.
In the present day, it is evident that this place has changed a lot, becoming more modern and busier. There has been a great deal of development in the transportation and infrastructure system. Particularly, around the roundabout, a large number of tree was cutted, skyscrapers has been building instead.
