The two maps illustrates the development in the town of Springer between 1970 to now.
Overall, the town was involved into urbanized area that includes, airport, shops and apartments. This development focused on education,shopping, and living facilities, and developed accessibility.
In 1970, the town included a large forest in the southeast, houses in central area and in the northeast of map, and shops situated between them. These buildings were linked with paths that crossed through the town from north to south. Two large forests covered the western,central, and northeast areas of the town.
By today, the farmland has been considerably reduced and several apartments that constructed to the west of it, and the houses have been moved to the north of it. Some of the central areas of the forest have been diminished to make way for additional shops, and a school has been built in the centre of the town. Large areas of the forest in the northeast have also been destroyed and only a small area has left above the houses. A new airport has been introduced in the northeast of the town, and some apartments have been located to the west of it.
