The two maps highlight the changes that took place in the town of Springer from 1970 until the present, with labels and pictures. Overall, it is evident that the area experienced significant changes, with the most noticeable ones being transport infrastructure, the residential area, and public amenities.
Immediately, it is clear that the large farmland on the south side of the town has been replaced by four apartments, three shops, houses, and the farmland has been reduced in size, located in the southeast corner of the map. In addition, in 1970, forests occupied a large area from north to south in the western part and the north-east part of the town, before it experienced a reduction in its area due to the construction of the airport in the north corner, a school in the middle, and increasing shops (there was 1 shop; however, it added 2 shops) which surrounding the school.
Moreover, the house, which was located in the northern part of the town, has been converted into two apartments. Nowadays, the forest has retained its position from north to south in the western site. Another forest lies between the airport and the two apartments at the top of the map, and under the airport, there is a forest in the eastern part of the map.
