The given illustrations depict the transformation in the town of Springer over a 56-year period, from 1970 until now. Overall, the area has undergone substantial modifications, with the most noticeable change being the expansion of residential and commercial facilities across the town.
To be more specific, to the northern section, there used to be houses along with the forest area. However, after redevelopment, it has been replaced by apartments and an airport, leaving a small portion of the forest between the building and airport. In the central part of the town, the previous shops, houses and some wood areas have been removed to make way for new shops and a school. In addition, another forest part remains unchanged to the east.
Moving southwards, this site experienced dramatic renovations. The vast farmland which is formerly located in the south has been reduced significantly in size and relocated to the southeast corner. Concurrently, in this place, several shops, houses and a complex of apartments have been constructed. Notably, we can observe the extension of the road over the town, facilitating transportation.
