The table given provides us data about how much hazardous waste does Malaysia, USA and UK produces which is measured in million tons, whereas the charts tell the percent of that waste treated with 3 different techniques.
The main thing that can be observed here is that USA produces the most waste and is mainly treated by landfills. UK has the lowest level of waste production and have highest level of recycling and disposing.
Beginning with USA, it produces 50 million tons of industrial chemical waste and the highest 60mt of plastic bag waste. Clinical and electronic waste is at 28mt and 14mt respectively. 50 % of all this waste goes in landfills while 30% being recycled and only 20% gets disposed. UK on the other hand produced the least waste, with 10 and 9 million tons of industrial and clinical wastage and 32mt of plastic bag but UK did the most recycling of this waste which is 40%.
The least electronic waste is produced by Malaysia which is 7mt while the plastic bags have 50mt of garbage and 20mt of industrial chemical. Both UK and Malaysia dispossess 45% of their total waste. Landfills take 30% of Malaysia’s waste and only 15% of UK’s combined waste.
