This pie charts illustrate the social media using by men and women in Australia in 2011 and 2014. Overall, the percentage of daily social media usage remarkably increased for both genders, whereas the proportion of people who never used social media significantly decreased. Three categories of charts decreased by men, when only two parts of it declined by women.
The index for social media, which was daily used by men, was almost doubled from a quarter by 2014. There was a similar decline of using once and few times a week by 3%. The percentage of time spent for social platforms by males decreased to almost third of chart.
As can be seen from the charts, the share of regular use of social networks by women was almost doubled from 30% and the index for who never used was almost tripled by 2014. In 2014, the proportion of internet community which was used by womenfolk had decrease by approximately third of chart, when the percentage of time spent by females was declined.
