As for daily winter sales, hot coffee leads the pack with 75%. Having 25% fewer sales than the top-selling item, soup sales account for 50%. Ice cream and salad, ranking third, each constitute 25% of the servings. However, the demand for iced coffee was almost non-existent, at about 2% of servings.
In terms of summer sales per day, iced coffee tells a completely different story, it tops the list with 40%, followed by ice cream with approximately 5% lower amount. Despite the hot weather, the desire for hot coffee is still popular among customers and ranks third at 30% of the total. The figures for soup and salad, however, are the lowest with 25% on the average.
Upon closer inspection of the bars, it is clear that the sales of some products noticeably differ according to the season, with hot coffee and soup being greater in the cold weather, but those of ice cream and iced coffee are higher in the summer. Of particular note is that the proportion of salad remained stable during both seasons.
