The bar graph demonstrates the variations in the places,where people mostly accessed the Internet from 1998 to 2004 in UK.
In 1998,home had the highest proportion at almost 55%,although work,college,library experienced a downward trend 28%,20%and 12% , respectively. After that ,the percentage decreased to 48% in the year 2000 in respect of people accessed Internet at home, in the year 2000, it depicts a declined trend of Internet usage and ratio at work,college and library around 28%,20%and 18%.
Furthermore, in 2001 the proportion of people surfed internet at home went slightly up with 50% , then it substantially came down at places of work , college and library at 25%,24% and 15% approximately. Again in 2004, the ratio of people accessed internet at home rose to 55% and rapidly dropped at ratio 15% in work place, 18% in college and 17% in library.
Overall, it is clearly evident from the graph that home is the most accessible place for internet and library is the least
