The line diagram illustrates the number of citizens of the USA residing in various continents from 2015 to 2020. The unit is measured in millions.
Overall, there was a gradual climb in the number of Americans setteled across the globe over the given period. In Asia, a similar pattern was observed. People in Australia and other continents, on the other hand, did not change significantly.
The total number of American residents living all across the globe in 2015 was slightly more than 30 million which peaked at 49 million in 2016 and continued to increase moderately reaching just above 50 million in 2020. In 2015, there were 20 million people from America, residing in other countries. Conversely, during this time, the number of Americans residing in Australia was close to 4 million, however, Asia had a coparitatively greater number (10 million) of immigrants from America.
In case of Australia, though it had a lowest number of immigrants from America initially; this number increased roughly 9 million in 2016, which then showed a steady decline in the following years. Furthermore, the american population in other parts of the world had observed a countinuously changing trend, as it started at 20 million in 2015 and closed at teh same in 2020. Surprisingly, in Asia, the American population kept growing continuously from 10 million in 2015 to just under 30 million until 2020.
