The graph demonstrates the average temperature per month, and the table shows the sunshine duration in one year in three cities: London, New York, and Sydney.
However, Sydney remained at approximately 25 degrees between January and May. At the same time, New York and London reached only 13 degrees. During the next six months New York reached a peak temperature of 30 degrees and had a slight fall to almost 23 degrees. Meanwhile, Sydney dipped to 15 degrees and returned to 20 degrees, crossing New York at this level. London had an increase to almost 25 degrees after returning to 20 degrees at the end of May. During the last three months,
Sydney had a steady rise and then remained at a temperature of 25 degrees. Both New York and London decreased dramatically; however, while New York continued plunging to 5 degrees, Sydney stopped at 10 degrees and remained at approximately the same level until the end.
As we can see, New York gets the most total annual hours of sunshine, hitting a peak of 2,535 hours per year, while Sydney falls behind by 62 degrees. However, data shows that London had the lowest amount of hours, accounting for 1,180 hours in a year.
In general, the graph reveals that the highest temperatures and sunshine duration are in New York. Sydney has the majority of hot temperatures with medium sunshine. London has the lowest temperatures and sunshine duration.
