The line graph and bar chart illustrate the total of leaners who choose different types of majors in a university in 2012.

Overall, the Social Sciences was the most popular course for male and female students, while the Agriculture was the least. Additionally, while females dominated in Social Sciences, Health, and Humanities, the males were mainly found in Engineering, Science and Math.

In term of line graph, Social Sciences attracted the highest number of students at almost 7000 people, which was double than that of Engineering. There was a similarity in the number of student in three courses: Health, Humanities, Science and Math, which was over 2000 leaners. And the minority was Agriculture, with approximate 500 in total.

Turning to the distribution of sex in each course, 4000 females participated in Social Science, which only 1000 more than male students enrolled in this area. Health and Humanities have the same pattern, with roughly 1500 female participants and under 1000 males. However, Engineering and Science and Math witnessed the domination of male leaners, which was double than females. And in Agriculture, the figure of males and females was equally.
