In 2009, Paticipation of boys and girls in various sports in Australia has shown via comparision by graph. Overall, In most of the sports, boys involvement can be noticed by big margin. However, Girls have shown huge interest in Netball and Swimming but in Athletics in minor difference.

Soccer was played by around 24% boys, which is highest involvment. Yet, parcentage of girls was 5% in this game. Swimming was played by not more than 14% of boys. Meanwhile, Girls’ second best engagement in any game around 21%. Netball was less popular among boys less than 1%. But This game is the most played game by 25% of the girls.
