In 1971, there were no-car in 50% of residents house and the figures started to decrease fluctuatingly in the next several years until 2007, there were about 25% of people did not have any car in house. Besides, the percentage of people having a car in this country rate for 45% at first, then had some slight changes during the period. However, the figure was maintained until the end of the period with more than 45% of people.
On the other hand, the proportion of people having two cars in 1971 was only more than 5%. Nevertheless, two-car-owner rose and levelled off between 1975 and 1979, then kept growing constantly until 2007 with more than 25% of people having two cars. Beside that, the percentage of household owing three or more cars was less than 5% and remained in the next eight-year.
