The line graph illustrates changes in the number of teenagers(aged 12-19) using apps for conversation in one state in the UNITED STATES between 2006 and 2009.
Overall, it is visible that Calls on cell phones had the highest percentage of teengers, while Email had the lowest over the period. There was a noticeable difference between the most and least using. By the end, Text messages were the most popular.
In 2006, Calls on cell phones were the most famous apps with 34% compared to 28% in text messages. Over the next year, Both apps saw slightly growth and had same percentage at approximately 36%. This an upward trend continued until 2009, when Text messages experienced slightly growth at 54%, whereas Calls on cell phones increased at 40%.
Talk face-to-face stood at 32% in 2006, however this figure saw significant rise from 32% to 40%, by 2007. By the end, Talk face-to-face declined to 33%. Email, in contrast, dropped to 20%.
