Overall, there was an upward trend in the proportion of fixed-line and mobile customers over the period. In the beginning, mobile subscribers saw the lowest percentage, which then soared and surpassed the remaining to become the most popular device in the final year.
In 1994, mobile and fixed-line customers were only 0.06 percent and 1.7 percent respectively. Then, the figure for mobile members rose dramatically, reaching 3 percent in 2001. Following that, after fluctuating, fixed-line members grew minimally and stood at nearly 3 percent.
After that, mobile customers experienced a significant increase and reached a peak at 8.8 percent in the final year. On the other hand, a consistent trend was witnessed in the proportion of fixed-line subscribers, which remained unchanged and climbed gradually by 0.1 percent.
