The provided graph illustrates data about the proportion of population in four Asian countries residing in cities for five decades between the time period of 1970 to 2020. It also forecast the population trends for 2030 and 2040 for the all four countaries.
It is evident from the graph that Malaysia reported the enormous growth treands through out the years from 1970 to 2020 with 30% to 75% respectively. Whereas Indonesia and Thailand recorded lowest population Around 13% in 1970, but managed to show substantial growth of 42% in 2020.
Analysing the graph further it is clear that philippians showed the most fluctuating treands among all four countaries. Initially in 1970its population was similar to malaysia. It was highest in 1990 with 55% and later it show a gradual decline in population in 2010 with 41%.
The future predictions for all four countries explains the tangible growth in population putting malayisa at 85% by the end of 2040, whereas Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand are in increasing order with 55%, 45% and 35% respectively.
