Band 5: The graph below gives information about the preferred leisure activities of Australian children. (User-Written IELTS Writing Task 1 Sample)

The histogram illustrates the proportion of children who take part in leisure activities in Australia.

To begin with,most of the children liked to watching TV or videos than other activities. The percentage of children watching TV or videos with 100%.It was observed that more boys participated in electronic or computer games with 81%, whereas,60% girls enrolled in electronic or computer games.This figure was quite different, as girls are more likely to toke part in arts and craft around 68%, while boys showed the least interest at 38%.

Analysing further,it was observed that more than 65% of boys engaged in bike riding,whereas the figure of girls who involved in bike riding is less than 60%.In the case of skateboarding and rollerblading,girls are participated less than boys.The percentage of girls who take part is less than 25%, whereas, 48% of boys joined skateboarding or rollerblading.

Overall,it can be inferred that both girls and boys highly enrolled in watching TV or videos,while girls are less likely to participate in skateboarding or rollerblading and boys less engaged in art and craft.
