The given chart compares the percentage of leisure activities selected by children aged 5 to 14 years old in Australia.

Overall, watching TV or videos is the most preferred activity for both boys and girls. On the other hand, the majority of boys are not keen on art and craft, whereas for girls, it is skateboarding or rollerblading.

Regarding the leisure activities that the boys are engaged in, watching TV or videos is preferred by all the Australian boys, with the figure accounting for 100%. Meanwhile, the opposite is true for art and craft, standing at around 35%. The rate of boys who participate in skateboarding or rollerblading, bike riding, and electronic or computer games ranges from nearly 40% to 80%.

Turning to girls’ leisure activities, the percentage of girls who are interested in watching TV or videos is the largest figure, standing at 100%, while skateboarding or rollerblading is the least popular activity for girls, with the figure merely 25%. The proportion of girls who are keen on bike riding, electronic or computer games, and art and craft is lower than that for watching TV or videos, all under 60%.
